Soldiers have taken over the streets of Kaduna metropolis on Sunday, after pockets of protests.
In quick response, the Kaduna State Government announced a 24-hour curfew to prevent the protesters from unleashing mayhem on innocent citizens.
According to a reliable source, rumours of the crisis started going round at about 4pm, when calls were received from loved ones, telling their people to stay in safe areas.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said that the soldiers were seen using their trucks to convey stranded commuters to their various locations.
