Federal Ministry of Information and Culture partners with Abuja Charity Carnival for the IDPs

Federal Ministry of Information and Culture has expressed its support for the 2016 most anticipated event in Abuja, the Abuja Charity Carnival.

According to the Director, Entertainment and Creative Services Department, Ministry  of Information and Culture, Mrs Grace Isu Gekpe who was delighted to host ACC Group at her Federal Secretariat office said the Ministry will do everything within its mandate to support Abuja Charity Carnival 2016.

‘We are more than ready to partner and render support to make this event a success, particularly in the area of coverage’. she promised.

She added that Internally Displaced Persons deserve the love they can get for all Abuja residents, as they have all been traumatized as a result of insurgent attack which had deprived them of properties, homes and families.

Gekpe also urged well meaning Nigerians to join and partner with the ACC Group in adding values to these IDPs so as to expedite their re-integration back to either their states or fully engaged in Abuja.
