Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Abuja supported by United States Embassy in Nigeria sets to hold Accountability and Transparency Summit in Abuja.

This summit which is geared towards raising awareness and mobilising more young persons in Nigeria to support the government in solving pertinent national issues is expected to hold soon.

“It will ultimately encourage more young people in Nigeria to have better understanding of what Open Government is and how they can effectively be integral part of decision making and implementation processes said Ovonicely, YALI Coordinator.

“This initiative is one of the YALI Abuja initiatives to drive sustainable development advocacy at the grassroots in Nigeria” he added.

However the date of the summit is yet to be announced. More information is expected at the Press Conference on Thursday, 30th August, 2018 in Abuja.
