Kaduna State Governor, Nasir Ahmad El-rufai has allegedly ordered the arrest and subsequently sent a Kaduna-based journalist, Mr. Jacob Onjewu Dickson to Prison Custody, on the allegation of writing a story the state Government described as inciting.Jacob Onjewu was invited by the State Police command over a story an online news medium www.autthenticnewsdaily broke that the governor was pelted and booed in Angwan Gado a suburb of Malali axis in Kaduna North-local government area of the state where a communal clash was said to have broke out earlier in the week.When the Leadership of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) visit the Kaduna state police command, the commissioner of police who was absent spoke to with the NUJ chairman on phone saying, he is out of the city but that the arrest of Mr. Jacob is now beyond him as the case is now with the Justice Ministry. He however promised to do his best when he returns to office.When the spokesman, of the governor Samuel Aruwan was contacted by the leadership of the Union, as at time of this report, he said was on his way but never show up.The online medium was believed to be manage by Mr. Dickson, but the said story was written by one PHILIBUS DAUDA.
