Dear Colleagues and Youth Leaders,
The UN Girls’ Education Initiative (UNGEI) is in the process of writing its first youth engagement strategy. As part of the process developing the strategy, UNGEI is hosting an online consultation with youth from July 24 to Friday, August 7th here: http://www.ungei.org/index_6040.html.
The purpose of the consultation is to ask youth for their input on best-practices (and what not to do) in engaging youth. I am writing to ask your help in circulating the consultation to the youth networks you are part of. The survey is available in English, Spanish, French and is accessible for the software used by the blind.
I am attaching a social media pack with suggested tweets, facebook messages and pictures to use in English, Spanish and French. The English messages are also posted below for easy access. Please share this with your communications team if you are part of an organization.
Thank you in advance for you help to circulate this survey (and for taking it if you are a youth!). UNGEI’s final strategy will document the input from this survey and will hopefully be a valuable resource for everyone in. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Best,
Lauren
