In a sudden turn of event, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken the bull by the horns in his move to dissolve the Boards of key Parastals, Agencies, Departments and companies under the federal jurisdiction, in order for the new administration to fully kick off.

According to the release to this effect, the list of the establishments affected by the sudden rejigging are as listed below:

So far, Only 14 Federal Executive Bodies established by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria were exempted from the dissolution of boards of agencies, parastatals, and commissions that normally happen when there is a transition of government.

Federal Executive Bodies such as INEC, Federal Civil Service Commission, Federal Judicial Service Commission, Council of State, National Defence Council, National Economic Council, National Security Council, National Judicial Council, Code of Conduct Bureau, Nigeria Police Council, National Population Commission, Police Service Commission, Federal Character Commission, Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission remain as they are.
