#CoronaVirus: Dangote Donates N200m support funds to procure medicals, equipment for prevention

As a part of the efforts to avert the spread of deadly Coronavirus into country, Nigerian Billionaire, Aliko Dangote has donated N200million support funds for the procurement of necessary medical facilities and equipment should any emergency case rises in Nigeria.

According to a report reaching us, the funds released has been earmarked to provide support for the Federal Government efforts through the Federal Ministry of Health and its agencies in building required structures and readiness in order to build the capacity of medical researchers, procurement of the drugs/medicine to shield Nigeria from the deadly virus.

Recall that same Dangote, who has been dubbed the richest man in Africa by Forbes Africa had released N1Billion funding when Ebola struck in 2014 in Nigeria.
He singlehandedly sponsored the trainings and payments of 160 medical staff. 
He built an emergency clinic in Yaba, Lagos State and bought 12 units of thermal cameras. 
Through this timely and unwavering support by Dangote, Ebola was quickly eliminated in Nigeria.
