Re-Orientation Advocates of Nigeria (RAN) is set to hold yet another life-changing citizen re-orientation programme for the Nigerian youth tagged ‘School of Politics: Grooming New Generation Leaders for Positive Influence”. The workshop which has been slated to hold on the 10th November, 2016 in Abuja is aimed at positively shaping the mindset of the young Nigerians between the ages 25-45 years particularly those who have the ambitions to hold elective offices or political appointments come 2019 elections and in the near future.
According to Folayan Charles, the Founder of RAN, ”This forthcoming workshop is basically Political Orientation Workshop for the teeming Nigerian youth, who always shy away from partisan politics and feel it is for old and elderly people”.
It is about time we join forces to enhance the capacities of the youth so as to correct the erroneous notion that young people are not well-equipped for politics therefore unfit to hold elective and public offices, he affirmed
Charles also added that since one of top organisational goals in RAN is to build capacity of the young people for positive change and rapid development in Nigeria, RAN has taken it as its onus to bring in trainers, facilitators and experienced politicians to train the younger ones for positive change in the Nigeria’s political terrain.
