Nigerian Network Operators Group (ngNOG), the largest capacity building activity of ICT personnel and other stakeholders in Nigerian Higher Education has commenced its 2016 Network Technology Conference and workshop in Abuja today.
Network Technology event that emphasizes best practices and basic principles in the deployment of scalable Internet Protocol (IP) networks. Using a provider-independent and vendor-agnostic approach, participants learn and share experiences about how to build and run better networks.
The Conference which had in attendance over 200 delegates from Tertiary Education Institutions, IT Industry, Private and Public Sectors across the country and beyond sought to promote IT Infrastructural Development by both Private and Public sectors in Nigeria through collaborations and capacity building.
The activities at the conference include community-building activities such as Keynote Address, Panel sessions, Lightning talks and Presentations that engaged stakeholders from different sectors.
The Conference has been scheduled to be a day event of a 6-day activity from 31st Oct – Nov 5th while the rest 5 day will be for ICT Workshop and Capacity Building for Professionals and stakeholders.
