Yesterday Abuja Writers’ Forum endorsed the newly published revolutionary Novel written by Chambers Umezulike, a young Nigerian activist with a unique heart of revolutionist. Chambers is a Secular Humanist who is mostly inspired by the great contributions of the past strategic leaders such as Che Gueverra and Fidel Castro of Cuba to revolutionary movements in their times.
Addressing the guests at Abuja Writers’ Forum yesterday Chambers said, “i have chosen to toe a different path as a young Nigerian. I believe youths in Nigeria are not being given their rightful place, particularly in terms of oppourunities to be able to contribute meaningfully to the policy and decision making process. We are not being taken seriously” perhaps after reading my novel “Malcolm” they would understand how impactful our contributions can be in policy making” he affirmed. He did an open reading to the guests present at the Forum for the first time after the book was published.
Malcolm is published by Better World Books. It is available in various bookshops across the Africa, Europe and USA.
