Pastor Tobi Adegboyega To be Repatriated from the UK?

The chicken has finally come home to the roost.

The UK Government has officially demanded the exit of Pastor Tobi Adegboyega out of her country in order to put an end to all his activities said to be constituting nuisance in the country.

This is one sad reality about immigrants being given an undue leeway in a more developed clime than their typical societies – the tendency to abuse that would be inevitable.

Well, many people saw it coming, when he suddenly became an item on all media platforms, forgetting that the UK government already put him under the radar and that they can be intolerant of any activity that raises suspicion unlike the Nigerian Government.

Warnings from families and friends began to sound like echoes of envy and jealousy.

The reality of his second class citizenship as an immigrant never really occurred to him, perhaps because of his community development programme his supposed Church claimed to have initiated in the UK.

The fact is living an unnecessary extravagant lifestyle in a country typically known for its conservative lifestyle, would always raise suspicion.

Only a dog that would lose its way ignores the whistle of the hunter, according to a Nigerian adage.

According to some reports, Tobi Adegboyega has been suspected by the UK Government, of illegal activities being carried out using his church members who are mostly young people.

Another downside of this decision by the UK government might be to come up with stiffer conditions for other immigrants with good intentions to run religious organizations in the country.

Nonetheless, no one can tell for sure whether he was ever granted full British citizenship but if he does, he could still fight for his right to stay. Good luck to him.
