The Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman has made a disclosure that age 18 and above will be the minimum approved age for any student to sit for Senior Secondary school examination (WASSCE) as from next year, 2025.
Mamman said this new policy adoption would bring about sanity into the country’s Education sector, once commence next year.
In his words while having a live Television Interview on Channels TV with Seun Okinbaloye, “From next year, JAMB is going to insist that anybody applying to go to university in Nigeria meets the required age which is 18.
“NECO and WAEC, henceforth will not be allowing underage children to write their examinations – Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman.
