The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has authorized a significant financial arrangement to facilitate the anticipated merger between Unity Bank Plc and Providus Bank Limited.
This approval was stated in a Press Release signed and issued by Sidi Ali Hakama, Acting Director, Corporate Communications, CBN on Monday, 6th August, 2024.
This strategic initiative aims to strengthen the resilience of Nigeria’s financial system and prevent possible systemic threats.
