Legendary Elegant Stallion and singer, Onyeka Onwenu has reportedly passed on at 72.
According to a reliable source, Onwenu collapsed after she performed at the 80th birthday celebration of Dr Stella Chinyelu Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals at about 8:05pm yesterday.
She was immediately rushed to the Reddington Hospital for proper treatment.
It was reported that Onwenu was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit at Reddington but she was pronounced dead afterwards.
Onyeka is a member of Arodizuogu family in Ideato North town in Imo state. She is the youngest daughter of your parents. His father, D.K. Onwenu who is a politician died when Onyeka was four years old in a car accident.
Onwenu graduated in International Relations and Communication from Wellesley College, and received a master’s degree at The New School for Social Research in New York.
Onyeka Onwenu, born on the 21st day of the month of 1952 is a journalist, musician, actor and politician in Nigeria.
