Ex-Commandos Jos Reunited to give back to Alma mater!

Command Day Secondary School, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment, Rukuba, Jos, Plateau State  (Formally Rukuba Military Cantonment) Old students association, popularly called Ex-Commandos are planning big for their 2020 reunion which promises to be the biggest and best event of the year.

Mr. Ibrahim Uduans, the association president appeal to all sets to redeem their pledges for the success of this year’s reunion and to give back to the school as well celebrate ex-students for their immense contribution thus far.

“As you all must have known 2020 is our reunion year and we shall be making this one a lot bigger and better than the last one held in 2017. The high point of this year’s reunion is the commissioning of the fully renovated school’s auditorium which we shall start work on in earnest before the August event.

“Am happy to announce to you that sets 93 and 2001 have got the ball rolling by redeeming their pledges of #200,000 and #100,000 respectively. And we await all other sets to do same. It should be noted that all sets and individuals that will be contributing towards this project shall be recognized through our proposed WALL OF FAME.”

This innovation will see names of contributors being written on a marble plate and placed strategically on the wall of the school hall for the whole world to see”.

According to Mr Uduans, there will be a very crucial meeting of the executives with the Abuja community of EXCOMMANDOS, he encourages everyone to be in attendance stressing that together we shall achieve greater things.

“There will be a very crucial meeting of the executives with our Abuja community of EXCOMMANDOS on Saturday, 8th of February, 2020 at the National War College WO & SGTs Mess Ushafa rd Bwari by 1pm. This very important meeting will avail the executives an avenue to present their score card and also educate the entire group of its plans towards the reunion and also to kick start the Abuja community which will be cut across all sets.

All sets are encouraged to be in attendance” he said.Command Day Secondary School, Jos popularly called CDSSJ has produced many students who have and are making great marks in chosen carriers such as the military, academics, sports, administration and other spheres of life as a result of increasing demands for the quality education received.
