Abuja’s biggest Plantain Festival to hold on Nigeria’s Independence Day!

The Abuja plantain festival is an outdoor food event targeted at exploring and showcasing the uniqueness and variations of plantain specifically, and other native Nigerian dishes which have over the years been enjoyed as an accompaniment with this much loved Nigerian delicacy.

The event which has been scheduled to hold on Nigeria’s Independence Day Celebration will bring together some of the best chefs and organic food produce entrepreneurs from across Nigeria selling and displaying both prepared plantain delicacies and other plantain food products.

Other side attractions are cooking, eating and drinking competitions. The vendor with the most creative plantain dish also goes home with a price.
