Dotun Roy, Popular #Abuja Development #Blogger celebrates another year!

Abuja based Development Blogger, Oladotun Olumuyiwa Fadeyiye Roy popularly known as Dotun Roy has added another year today 23rd March.

He is the founder of Dotunroy.com, a development News Website and JobkonnectNaija, an online platform that connects unemployed young professionals with their dream jobs. He is an advocate, SDGs Ambassador, Human Rights activist and the first development blogger in Abuja, using digital and civic technology as an advocacy tool to speak up for the voiceless and vulnerable people in the grassroots.

Dotun who has through his digital platforms imparted positively on several lives having spearheaded and supported several development/ humanitarian projects through effective collaborations with other top development bodies such as Amnesty International Nigeria, BBC Media Action, WWF-Earth Hour, WSSCC, Rotary International, WaterAid, Save the Children amongst others.

In 2016, he co-founded a platform called Abuja Charity Carnival in alliance with other two passionate partners with the aim of restoring the lost hope of the internally Displaced Persons living within the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja by giving them sense of belonging through capacity building so as to be self-reliant.

Roy has won several Awards and nominations.  He recently won the Young African Leadership Initiative “The Best Civic Leader” for 2017.

He also won the Login Bloggers Award for the “Blogger Of the Year 2017” sponsored by the Most Influential Nigerians platform.

Roy is currently a Professional Member of the Institute of Information Management Africa (PMIIM)
