We Break the News

One of the ways we can create and look into the kind of future we want is through our dreams. No, I am not referring to the dreams you do have when you sleep at night. Although, I have heard that God communicates to some people through such, in order to have the preview of future events, whether good or bad. Story of Joseph in the Bible is the typical example of this. However, 65 per cent of such dreams are just figment of imaginations or frequent obsession in our thought pattern and many of these dreams hardly come to pass.
Interestingly, the kind of dream in my subject is the one you and I have nursed over the years and waited patiently to bring to actualisation. But all efforts toward the realisation of this dreams seem like pouring water on the back of a duck. You have even gone to see counsellor and psychologist to psycho-analyse you to ascertain your sanity level.

Well, do not give up on that dreams yet, dreams do come true! Yes. When your efforts are not yielding any results then diversify, learn to pause and look inward, find out what other latent skills in you that you have been ignoring all these years and see how you can kick start something with it.

Now, don’t say ‘I have heard that many times’ you may have heard it or you are even a compulsive reader of motivational books but have you tried out what you read? The problem is we read too many books without applying them. Without the application of what we read it will never produce any result in our lives!

I still believe no human being is born without a talent or skill. Well, I know we all acquired formal education and all other professional trainings so as to be marketable in the labour market. But, if you ask me where is even the labour market now? It is saturated already! Moreso, I am not discouraging you not to forward that your resume like you have been doing. But for how long?

One out of myriad of challenges of 21st century is youth unemployment across the world, this has been linked to global melt down of economies or whatever. Hey, I am not a pessimist, here, I am realist to the core and I believe there are problem we as human can solve by ourselves without waiting for no one. There are things you and I can do to create employment, ideas run through us every second, why don’t we take advantage of that idea? Idea they say rules the world. That degree you and I bagged shouldn’t be to be boss around by someone who is able to bring out something meaningful out of his own little idea. That dream that you have been waiting for its actualisation might not be what you need to launch yourself out, it might just be those little ideas of yours. When those dreams seem dead then you have two options, is either you sit and fold your arms or stand up and take bold steps!

Do have a nice week ahead.
